About this listen
It started when I died.
Not many people can say they woke up dead. Even fewer people wake up as ghosts. Guess I’m the unlucky one since no one can see or hear me, and I have no recollection of how I ended up like this.
I thought I’d spend the afterlife alone… until him. The solitary man who stumbled across me during my restless wandering of the Scottish Highlands. He doesn’t want me around. I can’t seem to stay away.
It turns out Ciaran has a dark secret. And I’m determined to discover exactly what he’s hiding even if it might mean the death of me all over again.
A standalone dark paranormal romance novella with a very unconventional HEA.
This is a DARK romance and therefore comes with a content warning. Please see authors website for full details.

Double take- Did that just happen?
"Double Take- Did that just happen?!" was a running thought in my head throughout this book. I don't want to give away the story as it is just one you have to listen to. I will say, first of all, this is a dark romance- please read the warnings on the author's website. I usually can tell how a book is going to end or what will likely come next. This book WAS NOT one of those. There were many moments I stopped and jump back a few moments in the story to re-listen just to make sure I heard it right the first time. So refreshing to have a book that did not go the way I was thinking it would. I appreciate that it's not a series either. Though, I enjoy series, it's nice to have a story stop and start with one book. No long background story. As a matter of fact you spent the first part of the book trying to figure out the background. I am a sucker for Highland dialects, so I loved both narrators, who have an Irish brogue. This was a definite win for me :)
