Editor reviews

Chris Ragland brings a bell-clear voice and sharply etched characterizations to horror master Graham Masterton’s Demon's Door: Rook Series, Book 7.

This installment of the series begins with its ongoing protagonist, English teacher and psychic Jim Rook, running over his cat, Tiddles. Chills quickly ensue as Korean student Kim Dong Wook brings him the cat, brought back to life by the spirit Kwisin.

Foreboding shadows Ragland’s voice in the early performance before it builds in intensity and pace as this tale of supernatural horror unfolds.

Been a Graham Masterton fan for many years but I wasn't overly impressed with this book. I felt the story was rushed with no effort or Imagination applied and needed to be developed more, much more. The ending of this book was totally ridiculous and irrelevant. Why were the dog tags introduced in the last chapter?
The narrator's voice was unbelievable. Summer sounded like a reject from 'Drag Queens Are Us'. The other female voices were just toned down version's of the same. Maybe Garden of Evil will be better.

Demon's Door -- Disappointing
