Lost in translation

My review applies to this German version ONLY. I absolutely love JD Kirk‘s books and Hoon is my favourite of his characters, so, I was curious if and how it would work translated into my mother tongue. Unfortunately and unsurprisingly, it just does not do the original justice. Most of the fun (and swearing 😬) is lost in translation and the narration is also rather boring.
Do yourself a favour and get the original (series) and enjoy Scottish humour at its finest with Angus King‘s outstanding narration/performance.
