About this listen

I lived and breathed "Happily Ever After", then it all came crashing down...

The day the love of my life went missing - presumed dead - my heart stopped beating too. Then Lincoln Zager comes along, and he's relentlessly determined to protect and revive me. He slowly thaws the numbness surrounding my heart, offering me a second chance at love. He's willing to fight me...for me.

But another man harbors a dangerous affection for me - an obsessed stalker. Like Lincoln, he also claims that he will never let me go.

Contains mature themes.

nice story, narration was decent. but the last 4 chapters were unnecessary. I would have like Lincoln side narrated from the beginning though.

I persevered with this book as the story was brilliant from chapter one. However... the male main character is supposed to be English, but the female narrator makes him sound like he's a Scottish/Irish/Australian Cockney. Really, really, really bad accent. Embarrassingly awful 🫣

Saying all of that, I did finish this book, and it was worth listening to. A thrilling story!!

Thrilling story... shame about the narration 🫣

The woman's British accent wasn't great, sometime English, Scottish and Irish lol! however it was very enjoyable.

The story line was very good , however the English accents performed were diabolical. Some of the words came out as poor attempts of an Irish or Scottish accent and was very off putting listening to the book!

Spoiled by the awful English accent

why is it that some narrators have to narrate the story with perpetual note of anxiety.
And don't get me started on the British accent not,
if you are telling a story it should be in a voice that is soothing to hear waste of money

what am I listening to
