About this listen

A grieving football player hoping his son will speak again. A speech pathologist with a dark secret. An unexpected love that sparks danger from the past.

After Ryder Quinn’s wife died, his four-year-old son stopped speaking. Desperate for a solution, Ryder hires Bree Stevens, a spunky speech pathologist to be his son’s nanny and therapist. Bree moves in, breathing new life into their home. As his attraction for her grows, Ryder fears he might have more help than he bargained for.

Bree Stevens quickly falls for the devoted father and his adorable boy. But when her twisted past catches up with her, she has to choose: selfishly hold onto the love that she’s found, or leave and keep them safe.

Meet Monday- fall in love by Thursday!! Too much is implied but not developed. Characters not developed. Plot very weak.
If you want a quick sweet love story that you don’t have to think about- it’s ok

Not as good as I thought but I still listened to it all. I think maybe the second book will be better.

Not bad

Tate is a sweetheart, a gentle kind boy who stopped speaking when his mother died from cancer. Brie is hired to help Tate speak and she's just what Ryder and Tate need. Ryder is a gentleman, a loving caring father. This is a beautiful story about family and love. I recommend this story, it will tug at your heartstrings 💕

Beautiful story 💕

the story felt a little rushed, I would have liked the build up with characters falling in love to have been a little longer, this takes insta love to a whole new level but I enjoyed the story all the same, it was short and sweet, a PG rated romance story. the narration was very well done, Stephen Dexter is a new narrator to me and I thoroughly enjoyed his performance, his use of vocal skills for the various characters made it clear who was speaking and therefore easy to follow the story, which I've found is not always the case with other single person narrations.

Great narration

Full of sentiment and protection based on love. One small boy 'Tate' brings two people together, and this helps him finds his voice.

Enjoy the read

A nice easy read. Really loved Ryder and Bree as a couple. They shown each other good understanding and really helped each other with there pasts.

Nice easy read.

Total waste of time, twee and implausible story. Sickly sweet and predictable. Just blah in my opinion.

Waste of time
