Summary
Vier Brüder aus Holland beabsichtigen zur Zeit des reformatorischen Bildersturms den Aachener Dom zu verwüsten. Die Nonnen feiern trotzdem das Frohnleichnamsfest und singen dabei so schön, dass die Brüder ihr Vorhaben aufgeben. Später kommt dann heraus, dass die die heilige Cäcilie, die Schutzpatronin der Kirchenmusik, den Gottesdienst geleitet und damit die Zerstörung verhindert hat.
