X marks the spot for murder…
Temple Regis, 1959: Devon’s prettiest seaside resort is thrown into turmoil by the discovery of a body abandoned in the lighthouse.
It’s only weeks since another body was found in the library – and for the Riviera Express’s ace reporter-turned-sleuth Judy Dimont, there’s an added complication. Her friend Geraldine Phipps is begging her to re-investigate a mysterious death from many years before.
What’s more, Judy’s position as chief reporter is under threat when her editor takes on hot-shot journalist David Renishaw, whose work is just too good to be true.
Life is busier than ever for Devon's most famous detective. Can Judy solve the two mysteries – and protect her position as Temple Regis’s best reporter – before the murderer strikes again?

Nice spot of light reading
Lovely talented narrator. Story got more enjoyable as you went along, everything fitting together for the end. I will order more from this author.

Absolutely loved it!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book and Eve Karpf's narration is brilliant so a double pleasure! T. P. Fielden's books and Eve Karpf's narrative skills are a marvellous combination. I have all four books on my Kindle and on Audible, I enjoy them so much! I am looking forward to the next book and audio book with great anticipation!

The best one so far!
I have listened to all of the previous books in this series and found them mildly entertaining. However, this book has picked up the pace and found it's voice. It is intriguing , with more depth and grit than the previous stories. A very enjoyable listen and definitely my favourite so far.
