About this listen
In Drawn, a mysterious little boy has begun appearing in the paintings of an artist who can't remember ever actually seeing him. A partially blind, disfigured agoraphobic who suffers crippling panic attacks if he even tries to leave his apartment is forced out by an unseen entity. A lonely widower begins to suffer terrifying nightmares that his long-missing, presumed-dead son is still alive and in mortal danger. A young runaway realizes that a man he thought was his traveling companion is actually his captor...and a predator. The lives of four very different people, driven by different but very powerful forces, crash together as they fight to solve their individual mysteries, to defeat a brutal enemy, and to save the life of an innocent boy.

Boasting a cast of narrators including Golden Earphones recipient Gabrielle de Cuir and Golden Voice awardee Stefan Rudnicki, this unique audiobook features each narrator taking on a different character and performing chapters from their point of view. Listeners will be electrified by their performance of this story where a mysterious little boy who begins appearing in an artist's paintings, even though the artist has never actually seen him; a partially-blind agoraphobic is expelled from his apartment by a strange entity; a widower begins to have nightmares that his long-missing son is still alive and in danger; and a young runaway realizes his companion is actually a malevolent presence. The narrators keep up an urgent pace, and link these four stories together seamlessly to an unpredictable end.
Where does Drawn rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Not the best, but entertaining and ranked higher than some of the more well known books.Who was your favorite character and why?
Didn't have one, but prefered Boone. Just had more story to his characterWhat about the narrators’s performance did you like?
That there were 5 narrators portraying each main character in the story. I actually liked this idea as I like audio dramas and this added to the overall feel of the story. It also definitely helped because it would sometimes switch quickly between characters and you knew which you were listening about this way much easier. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, but I never do. I prefer good long books that I can pick up anytime. This one had moments where I couldn't stop and had to find ways to listen longer. But no it's not so great you can't put it down.Any additional comments?
Good story overall, fun read. Not everyone will be happy with the resolution and overall ending, but no one ever is.Good little story with a unique reading style
