I enjoyed this a lot and considering it's in the Plus Catalogue well worth a download. My favourite tale was the one about the bootleg tape. The description of the thing in the doorway was one of the best horror descriptions I've heard. Good stuff.

Excellent and it's free.

Great selection of stories here, well worth a credit but more so that it’s (currently) included with the subscription.

Some very good modern horror/ghost stories of varying lengths and all worth a listen.

I’ll definitely look out for more stories by this author.

Creepy & Entertaining

There was elements of spooky and/or creepy elements going on but the stories were drawn out by being overly descriptive in areas such as mundane conversations and telling you far too much about the characters life. The last story in the series was a mix between Hansel and Gretle and The Blaire Witch, interesting but not all that original. The authors favourite phrase was fever dream that repeated itself in stories. All in all alright but not the best as far as horror writing goes.

I really enjoyed this, it is best described and atmospheric and unsettling. These stories are not of the gorey variety but they do get under your skins and leave you looking over your shoulder. There is a general feeling of isolation and desperation from the characters, all of whom are ordinary people experiencing what i would desrcibe as adventures in the liminal. This book was free with my membership and I am delighted to have found a new horror author to follow.

Deeply unsettling, highly enjoyable

The stories were pretty good, and narrator read it really well ....There was a lot of inflection in his voice, which added to the suspense

Liked the stories

The stories and the narration were both a bit flat. They didn’t engage me. The stories felt a little light, lacking menace. It’s more REO Speedwagon than Black Sabbath.

It was OKish

Have you ever listened to someone trying to tell a story and wish you could fast forward them to the point? Well, that was this book.

Get on with it.
