About this listen

In this age of social media attacks, constant distraction, and rampant corruption, a high emotional intelligence quotient, or EQ, is more important than ever. Justin Bariso brings the concept of emotional intelligence up to date and into the real world, combining scientific research with high-profile examples and personal stories.

For example, in EQ Applied, you'll:

  • examine one of the most famous business stories of all time - Steve Jobs's exit and return to Apple - from a completely different angle...and reveal a major lesson in the process
  • learn how to control your emotional reactions - and see how a modern day "miracle" brought this ability to life
  • learn how to break bad habits and escape "emotional hijacks"
  • discover how emotional intelligence can be used for evil - and how you can protect yourself

Learn how to make emotions work for you, instead of against you. That's EQ Applied.

This book is me. It has so many relatable scenarios in and I know that I will listen to it over and over until I have fully embodied the principles of EQ. Easy listening, bitesize chunks of really useful information and most importantly.. It has real world application. I rarely take the time to write reviews but I cannot recommend this book enough. It will change your life.

The best book I've ever listened to!

I’ve subscribed to Justin’s newsletters for some time and have found them very interesting and insightful, so much I thought I’d invest in his book.
Really wished I hadn’t. Complete waste of money.
I have tried so hard to listen to this book, but I’m afraid the narrator really, really ruins it.
It’s not a book of fiction, there is no need to drag it out and Justin’s normal charisma in his written word is just lost by the narrator.
I wish I’d asked for a refund while I had the chance. As hard as I have tried to stomach listening to this book, I can’t. I just can’t.
If you’re going to buy it - read it yourself, honestly don’t make my mistake.
I don’t understand the high reviews for the audio version.

Narrator ruins it
