John Boyne is a genius
John Boyne has the gift of being able to capture the rawness of being alive. His writing buffeted me emotionally. I couldn’t stop listening.

Totally Gripping
The interest in the story was interspersed with other events along the way making the it a page turner. Loved the narration and knew who was speaking throughout with different accents. Must get another audible by John Boyne remarkable talent.

Challenging and unsettling
This is my first read from the author, I found it uncomfortable and challenging but completely addictive, not sure if it is worth a credit given it was over so quickly! If you like short stories, well worth a listen
