I struggled a little with this book but after a couple of false starts I did quite enjoy it. It's the first Cleve Sylcox book I've read and I'm not sure I'd look for more although the talent of the author does shine through. Action packed with for me too many characters to confuse the listener or is it just me! LOL! I also thought the ending was a bit daft but as I do not do spoilers it's up to others to judge. Peter McGiffen does a great job of the narration as always.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.

A brilliant premise, ailing New England Horror writer Edgar keeps waking in an enchanted land threatened by an evil sorcerer, Maddemon. Edgar the Raven and a band of adventures encounter all manner of mythical creatures, traps and betrayal.
A packed fantasy novella with action, humour and twists. The narrator did a great job bringing the book and it's characters to life.
