Garrapata y Carafoca han simulado hacerse el haraquiri en honor del emperador. Este, desconsolado, decide celebrar la ceremonia fúnebre en el Templo del Sueño Sempiterno de Pekín. Pero los dos piratas no están de acuerdo y quieren huir de allí como sea. Lo mejor será montarse en un tonel e introducirse así en la Ciudad Prohibida. A ellos se les unen todos sus compañeros piratas y, efectivamente, consiguen entrar en el recinto amurallado. Pero allí descubren con horror que el emperador desea casarse con la hermosa Floripondia. Después de muchas aventuras y pruebas, el pirata Garrapata, sus amigos y Floripondia consiguen huir rumbo a Inglaterra, su hogar.
