Summary
These men killed mine, and for that, they have to die
Bristlebrook is up in smoke, my brutes are dead, and Sam’s camp is a powder keg begging for a flame.
Injured and furious over their losses, the surviving hunters are preoccupied with their own problems. Their factions and allegiances. Their internal wars and pissing contests. The new world they want to forge. They don’t look twice at their meek little captive.
They shattered my heart five ways when they killed my brutes, so I don’t care anymore. If I’m to stop the villains, I need to become one.
I need to be smart. I need to be ruthless.
Even if it means razing myself to the ground to do it . . .
We’re bringing her home, or we’re not coming home
They took our librarian from right under our noses—and with Lucky injured, Bristlebrook in flames, and our personal problems finally spilling over, we’re fracturing.
But we need to be better.
Bringing Eden home is the most important mission of our lives.
Followed closely by the second most important . . . building her a home worth returning to.
***
The Brutes of Bristlebrook is a dark(ish) post-apocalyptic, steamy romance series, and Eden will end up with three or more love interests after I’ve appropriately obliterated my listeners’ nerves. Expect complex characters, 1st person present tense, multiple POVs, MM in the harem, angst, lots of laughs, and to encounter material that some listeners may find sensitive.
This book is a big boy at over 180k words and deals with a lot of heavy content. I promise it gets brighter as it goes on (you know... mostly). Please see my website for TWs - your mental health matters.

im obsessed with this series
Desperate for audiobook for number 3. So many great narrators. The story and characters are incredible. With so much angst and pining going on I was constantly on the edge of my seat.

Perfectly Executed!
The narrators of this book (and book 1) did a fantastic job! Their ability to transport the reader into this post apocalyptic world is incomparable! Can’t wait for Book 3! Highly highly recommend this book and any other featuring any of these narrators! You will not be disappointed!

PER-FEC-TION!! what a blast!
4,5/5 ⭐️
4/5 🌶️
Once again, this is a MUST LISTEN AUDIOBOOK for me. All the cast from book 1 are back, there are new characters. It is amazing! I am not sure if one will get the same effect if you read the book without the audiobook. But for these books, you NEED the audio.
We pick up right after book 1. There are times of desperation for Eden, uncertainty. She meets her ugly and dark side. Throughout the book she works on her PTSD and I think she grows more into herself in this book.
The guys from their part are also evolving, maybe "growing". They are also learning to know themselves as individuals and as a group.
This book was devastating. I cried and laugh multiple times. The bathtub scene lives freely in my mind, perfectly done.
The bond-fire scene is great too. Eden and Lucky are brilliant together, Jasper is terrifying, Beau is ridiculous, Jayk is the unwilling hero and Dominic… I love Dom too, it has taken some time, but he is getting there. Or at least he was until Rebecca throw the cliffhanger at the end……
Now all I think is when will book 3 be rleased…. August cannot come faster
Highly recommended!

Intense, Entertaining, and Captivating!
This is the second installment in the Brutes of Bristlebrook Series, a dark and steamy post-apocalyptic RH romance. This is one of my favorite post-apocalyptic series. This book is huge! The story continues where the first book left off. Eden, and her brutes ex-Army Rangers (Dom, Lucky, Beau, Jasper, and Jaykob) are amazing, enigmatic and complex characters. The chemistry is sizzling hot. The storyline is intense, entertaining, and captivating, filled with angst, tension, passion, secrets, and twists and turns. The world building is breathtakingly enthralling. Looking forward to listening to the next book in the series. The story is told from multiple POVs, and outstandingly well performed in duet by an impressive cast of voice actors.

Brutes , bubblebaths and betrayal
I have been waiting impatiently for the next part I'm this series since the minute I finished the first part.
It did not disappoint.
It's one of those books that you promise yourself, just one more chapter , then before you know it, it's 4am.
Chapter 18 made me laugh out loud , Beau and lucky are hilarious together.
I don't what to spoil anything but if you enjoyed the first book you will love this too.
The narrators are so talented, reading the book is good but listening is just perfection.
Can't wait to see what happens next!

I need the third book
I am left speechless. this series was a gamle for me. I did not think post apocalypse bdsm was for me, but... it was. The emotions, the conversations was just so good.
The whole missing out on establishing the boundaries in the first book set ut to create a lot of drama but our heroine figures out a lot and matures.
the second book ended on an emotional cliffhanger, and I don't know how I will be able to wait for the next book. 🤯

Another aural extravaganza!
Loads of joy this Christmas! Honestly, nearly 22 hours of listening time with superstars SebYo, Joe Arden, Teddy Hamilton, Jason Clarke, JF Harding, Connor Crais and Zachary Webber is the kind of bliss that makes it hard to go back to regular audiobooks. Avery Caris and Rose Dioro were also great. Book 3 can't come soon enough, but in the meantime, I'm sure I'll be revisiting this story a few more times.
