Both Marrok and Delilah both go on a journey. Through a fate neither could have imagined they cross paths. In their travels they must learn to lean on each other. Along the way they discover the possibility of an eternal love, but only if they're willing to take a leap of faith and accept each other faults and all.

Lady Delilah secretly learned valuable life skills and when it was time, she left home. Duke Marrok was suppose to have been betrothed to Lady Delilah , but he refused. Fate seem to conspire for them to keep meeting.
Enjoyed reading this fated love story. Love the heroine's character, ingenuity and fortitude. Enough events also happened that made them developed feelings, instead or of a rushed whirlwind romance. Looking forward to more stories from this author.

A good short story with interesting characters and enjoyable narration.
I listened to the audiobook and as with the others in this series, have enjoyed it tremendously.
Talk about an evil mother (yes, mother) and of course Delilah's will take the cake!
It was lovely watching how Delilah and Marrok came to find love and then marriage, despite all the obstacles life threw at them.
Enjoyed the narration too.

When they first met they were instantly at war. After things had changed they had a chance to really get to know each other. I loved reading this story on through to see what would happen. The narrator had a great voice. This cute story is one that should be read.
