About this listen

He was everything I needed when I thought I had it all....

As front man for the band, everyone’s eyes are on me.

I bask in the spotlight. Because it hides the flaws.

Everyone has secrets. Mine will ruin everything I’ve built.

My career, my music, my life....

But keeping this secret? It’s breaking my heart.

I knew how we would end before we started. And still I can’t resist him.

Not everyone will understand. But I do.

It’s simple. He’s the man I’m meant to love.

How long can I deny who I truly am?

Should I keep my secret or risk it all?

Adam and Seth!

Adam has endured a painful childhood where he spent a large portion of his time in foster care which as a result has ensured that the fellow members of the band Sin City are more family than friends. Adam has kept his sexual preference hidden so when a relationship develops between him and Seth, a member of their security team, complications arise as he is afraid if anyone finds out about their relationship it could be detrimental to his career and the band.

Although he doesn’t flaunt it Seth is comfortable with his sexuality. It is only a matter of time before the chemistry between he and Adam ignite however he is finding it difficult that Adam is only willing to share the part of his life when no one else is around. Being with him but not really being a couple leaves Seth with the difficult choice of accepting what Adam is willing to give or walking away and neither will make him happy.

The hot chemistry or the love that Adam and Seth shared was never the problem. They take us on a emotional journey as they must decide if the love they have is worth fighting for. The narrators out all the angst and emotion which made both characters relatable. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Adam & Seth!

After hearing Jake and Sin's story and meeting Adam, I could not wait to listen to this second story of the series. Adam and Sin are foster siblings and their relationship is special, But even their closeness never gave Adam the confidence to let her know he is interested in men. Now taken with Seth, who is open about his sexuality, Adam has choices to make. And what a story M Jay Granberry has woven around these two. I listened in one day, enjoying the push pull these two had. The confidence Seth exudes in who he is, the love he gives and frustration he feels is had me falling for him! Adam frustrated me too! He is journey to self confidence and his own happiness is heartfelt, had every emotion and I was right there with him. This is an amazing book, and I am loving the series.

Two better narrators could not have told this story. Jacob Morgan and Benjamin Charles perform each of their characters with feeling, tugging on every heart string. This team is incredible, and I hope they do more together!

After reading the other book in this series, I really wanted Adam's story. I knew it would be angsty. It was. this was steamy as heck, broody as heck, hot as heck and at times frustrating as heck. The time line runs concurrent with the previous book but what kept me hooked was not only the push and pull between Adam and Seth but how AMAZING this was on audio. Jacob Morgan and Benjamin Charles did the damn thing right!! I loved both of their performances so much and I need more from them both. Thanks to Foreword PR and the author for allowing me to review this on audio. I volunteered to leave this unbiased review and all opinions are my own.
