She’s given up on love. He’s marrying for money. But God has other plans...
South Wales, 1905. Faith only believes in the certainty of pain and suffering. Born with a club foot and harboring a dark secret, the barmaid can’t escape her sinful past. But after the country’s religious revival puts her out of a job, hope sparks when a handsome aristocrat gallantly offers her a second chance.
Lord Geoffrey Driscoll fears his estate will run out of money before he can find a suitable bride. However, the devout nobleman can’t keep his mind off the stunning redhead despite her lowly status. As the attraction between them grows, Lord Driscoll is torn between his need for a wife of means and his heart.
As Faith falls for Lord Driscoll’s kindness, she wishes that she could erase the sinful past that stands in the way of their union...

Heart waming, mystery and romance!
What a fantastic book. After listening to Grace in Mombasa by the same author I wanted to try this one too. I can highly recommend doth books! I didn't want either to finish!
I don't want to give the secret away, but this is about a young girl living with her mother and younger brother in poverty through no fault of their own!
Embarrassed by a club foot and seeking work after loosing her job, Faith meets a Lord of the Manor who falls in love with her and she him.
But what is the secret stopping the young girl from letting herself accept their love for each other!

Faith in Abertillery
I was new to the author and narrator but I can say that this is a perfect story that is read perfectly for the story line and the characters. It allows you to be drawn into the story line and make you want to know what happens next.

This book is so well done
I think Tracy in trainer outdid herself with this book. As I read it seems as if I good picture every scene faith, Philip, Mel, the butcher and everyone else were in.There were so many things to love about this book, Not to mention the surprises that really blew my mind. The evolution of Faiths faith And just the whole book was so awesome. There’s so much I wanna say but it would make it a spoiler and I don’t like doing that and reviews as I don’t like that myself. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves history and good riding well researched and historically correct entertainment you should buy this book. If you are in doubt don’t be! This as I said is an awesome Read. Just an FYI there are no triggers and although there was a lot of talk well not a lot a good bit of talk of religion as it is a part of the story but not so much that those who don’t believe in our Savior Jesus Christ would be offended. The narrator I thought did a pretty good job and she made it a comfortable listen. OK I’m done go by the book.

A lovely sweet Romance
Reminiscent of Cather Cookson and Downtown Abbey, a lovely romantic story between the classes, showing the truth of human nature. This is a book my mum would love to listen to as well.
