Good pace and well developed characters. The fact that the story is set in the middle of the pandemic makes it more relatable to those who bought and read this book.

I had never heard of Karin Slaughter until I heard her being interviewed on BBC Radio 5. She came across as being very interesting and intelligent. I immediately looked up this book and pre-ordered it, I am so pleased I did. Four days later I’ve listened to the he whole thing, totally gripping and an amazing insight into the characters lives. I strongly recommend this novel so much so I have immediately bought another book by the same author.

I’ve loved all of Karin Slaughter’s books. False Witness is harrowing at times and the subject matter is tough. The narration is good and whilst I had an idea how the book would end, I was still left in tears. Highly recommended.

Another Amazing Standalone by Karin Slaughter
