Ein Kegelturnier mischt ganz St. Peter-Ording auf, und auch Ilva Feddersen ist bei der Organisation des Wettbewerbs eingespannt. Doch schon kurz nachdem die konkurrierenden Kegelvereine Quartier bezogen haben, liegt der Favorit des Turniers tot in seinem Campingwagen. Alles sieht zunächst nach einem tragischen Unfall aus. Aber Ilvas Spürnase juckt, und sie kann sich nicht ganz aus den Ermittlungen heraushalten. Als ein zweiter Toter geborgen wird, steht für Ilva und ihre Freunde fest: Das war Fowl Play. Doch wer killt die Kegler?
