Great Classics but disappointing narrator

Poor narration- had to stop listening. Very distracting unbalanced voice. Pity as the stories would be great if well narrated

dreadful narration

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

This was absolutely awful ... I wanted to enjoy it but the awful monotonous droning of Cathy Dobson as the narrator spoilt it totally. I only managed to listed to 1-1/2 stories before snatching my headphones off.... Awful awful awful. So disappointed as I have no doubt the stories are great.

How could the performance have been better?

see above

Any additional comments?

Please redo this collection with a different narrator. Just because she's an author in her own right, does not make her a good reader!! I note one other reviewer also made similar comments.
