Wow,! Great Guide to Yoga For Health

This was great! While it encourages you to try all movements, it reminds you to accept where you are physically. You are stiff in the beginning and can't get into the positions, and she keeps assuring you that this is normal and that the more you do, the better you will achieve each pose. Also, it covers meditation and total relaxation. Very good!! I will listen to this book again and again! I highly recommend this book.

Great For Any Age For New Lease On Life

I listened to this book for my mom who is a senior, yet after listening I would say it’s perfect for any age group looking to either start yoga or deepen their practice to stay fit, healthy, mobile, flexible and strong. The author, Jackie, provides easy to follow instructions for 20+ yoga poses, along with tips for daily habits, meditation, and affirmations. The audiobook also includes a lovely PDF downloadable added bonus. With the yoga trend on the rise why not give this audiobook a try as all it takes is 15 mins a day, which means in no time you’ll feel a new lease of life, and a balanced positive mindset. The narrator does a great job of keeping listeners engaged. This audiobook is perfect for seniors who want to stay active and healthy in the comfort of their own homes, it even provides chair yoga for those less mobile at the start. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an accessible way to practice yoga and promote physical and mental well-being.

Perfect for seniors

This is the perfect book for seniors who want to stay fit and keep some flexibility as they move into later life. The book contains more than 20 easy to follow yoga poses to maintain health, flexibility and mobility.
It also includes some great meditations to encourage a positive mindset

Truly Beneficial

I'm in my mid- to late-fifties now, and I'm starting to notice stiffer joints and aches and pains. That's why I chose this audiobook, and I must say, it's been a great find. This audiobook provides a truly inspirational fitness program for older adults to improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and overall health.

Jackie Jacobs, the author, has done an excellent job of developing a program that can be tailored to an individual's specific needs. Jackie discusses the history of yoga and breaks down various poses into categories, making it simple to find the best options for your requirements. I particularly liked how the poses varied to help support the knees, which is something I've been struggling with lately.

I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone looking to implement a strategy that will help them to live a pain-free future. It is both informative and entertaining, and Lynnda Nelson's engaging narration completes the listening experience perfectly.

So glad I found this book

I've tried yoga a few times because I know about its many benefits, however, I didn't have a good experience because of injuries I had in the past. But I always wanted to get back to practicing if I find a safe way of doing it. this book is exactly what I was looking for. As someone who entered my 60s, I know I need to keep active. Yoga is the perfect answer and this book is the perfect guide. The instructions are very clear and the poses are easy to perform. I already started practicing and I enjoy it, which means I will keep doing it consistently! the meditation and relaxation instructions are very helpful too. Overall, this book is packed with encouraging information every senior needs to continue an active life!

Tips for staying younger

I love yoga, it’s been such a god send in helping me move and feel younger. I would say it is probably one of the most important things we can do to age better. So I highly recommend the 20 postures in this book. If you do them regularly and consistently, I guarantee the book will fill on the promise of regaining your strength and independence.

Mom Enjoyed it

After a lot of procrastinating I got my mom to try Yoga using this audiobook as a guide. She doesn't yet struggle with her strength but it can be a slippery slop so I'm encouraging her to start early on things like this! I was glad it laid out every step for her including what equipment she needed. Bonus...they offer the PDF with purchase of this audiobook which is great for a visual reference.

What an amazing gift to my dad!

As yoga is one of my passions for 4-5 years I always wanted to introduce this world to my father especially after he retired, I always wanted to explain to him why is it so important to our healthy mind and body but he never wanted to understand any of this.
He started yoga because of this amazing audiobook, first of all, he doesn't need to read he can just listen to it and it is so simple to follow these instructions he is really into it and picked up yoga as a hobby. Now, we do yoga together at home or even go to classes and really enjoy it.

Honestly, thanks to this amazing content and lovely Author, Jackie, his life has changed big time and he is feeling way better than before!

Very informative and educational

I feel the fitness freedom after listening to this book. I was looking for more education on how to get stronger and fit and general fitness and nutrition assistance. This book provided so many helpful ideas to level up my existing routine. I really appreciated all the nutrition coaching and for the audible instructions for yoga. Highly recommend! Your body, mind and spirit will thank me later.

Produced For Seniors, Helpful For All!

This delightful audiobook explains the history of yoga and explains multiple poses broken down by categories specific to your individual needs! Its target audience is senior citizens with limited flexibility, but I found the content personally helpful (even though I'm a young man!). The audiobook even includes tips, strategies, and guidance for nutrition, mediation, and lifestyle - I highly recommend this!
