Til death do us part?
Ida Belle, Fortune, and Gertie are gearing up for the big day - Ida Belle’s wedding to Walter - but when the caterer goes missing just a week before the big day, it puts a huge black mark on the joyous celebration. Molly Broussard is no stranger to being in the limelight, so when the former cage fighter turned in her boxing gloves for pots and pans, everyone who knew her was surprised...until they ate her food.
From all appearances, Molly took her boat out that day and simply never returned. An extensive search of the bayous finally produces the boat, but there is no sign of Molly. With no evidence of foul play, Sinful residents are ready to conclude that this is simply another tragic and all-too-common accident.
Nickel Bordelon spent half of his time in trouble and the other half paying for it. But one thing he knows for certain - Molly was murdered. When he asks Fortune to take the case, she isn’t sure there’s anything to find, but his emotional plea has her agreeing to look into it. As Swamp Team 3 begin their investigation, they find more layers to Molly’s disappearance than in Ida Belle’s wedding cake.

Brilliant as always
These stories just keep getting better & better. No Celia this time but it just goes to show that not all the characters are needed to make the story. Please keep this series coming

Loved all of it
We're back in Sinful for another bonkers adventure full of mystery, laughter & explosions. Moreover Ida Belle & Walter's wedding is finally on the horizon. Now can someone make it so that I can listen to it all over again as if it were for the first time?

Love it
Things are never dull in Sinfull with Fortune , Ida Belle and Gertie .

ldaBelle Finally Makes it Down the Aisle!
After looking into the death of the cage-fighting caterer for IdaBelle and Walter's wedding, running from bears and crocodiles; blowing up a skip; launching plenty of bottle rockets; looking into the death of a shrimp fisherman; re-encountering the semi-nude gentleman who thought Fortune was the prostitute he ordered; and a pretty outrageous Hen Party for the Bride to Be....the wedding finally takes place.

One of my favourite series for a reason
This is one of my favourite authors, this series in particular and this book is a very good example of why. This is book 18 and it just gets better and better as you get to know the characters but as each mystery gets solved by the end of the book you don't need to read or listen to them in order. Just a warning once you have listened to one you will want to get the rest. It's full of unusual and interesting characters, not just the main ones who are just a hoot especially Gertie. I love Ida Belle's and Gertie wedding planning as it added such a fun and often humours interlude to the mystery.The mystery kept me guessing and was well worked, I did kind of guessed the out come but it was still a lot of fun getting there with the gang. I just love everything about it. Wonderful characters, hilarious situations and a great mystery. I cope it continues for a long time.
With Ida Belle's wedding fast approaching Gertie is into full party planning to make sure her best friend vote the wedding of her dreams of at least the wedding she and Walter deserves. But the Wedding caterer goes missing after phoning her friend all in a panic. Fortune and the gang jump into action to find her before it's to late. With the discovery of her boat drifting things don't look good and swamp team three turn there investigation from a Missing person into a murder investigation. The more they investigate the more they draw similarities between the disappearance between Molly and her brother. Will Fortune have to solve a cold case to cast light on Molly's? And can they do it all before Ida Belle walks down the aisle?
I can't imagine another narrator doing a good a job as this narrator. For me she is Fortune.
