About this listen

Children can enjoy their favourite story time and time again with this audio download.

I didn't really read the description before purchasing this in the sale, so I was expecting a retelling of the legend of George and the Dragon. Brian Blessed as narrator was enough of a selling point for me, as I remember enjoying listening to stories read by him on my Storyteller tapes many years ago. Chris Wormall's story was an original and funny surprise and Blessed didn't disappoint either with his two different readings of the book. The first was delivered with his trademark bombastic gusto, with accompanying dramatic music. The second reading is a gentler affair, intended for children to read along with the narrator. My seven year old was delighted, as was I!
