About this listen
Ghosts know no season, respect no boundaries, and offer no mercy. Ed and Lorraine Warren, the world's most famous and respected demonologists, have devoted decades to exploring, authenticating, and conclusively documenting countless cases of otherworldly phenomena.
Best-selling books and hit motion pictures, including The Amityville Horror, A Haunting in Connecticut, Annabelle, The Conjuring, and The Conjuring 2 have been inspired by the Warrens' extraordinary real-life experiences with the supernatural. From the grounds of the United States military academy at West Point, New York, to the backwoods of Tennessee, Ghost Hunters chronicles their first-hand confrontations with the unknown, the unholy, and the unspeakable.
Here are the accounts of teenage girls who trifled with Satanism and séances, only to fall victim to the most horrifying of spirits. A village terrorized by a murderous, unstoppable force too evil to be anything but Hell-born. A family's home besieged by the relentless, destructive fury of poltergeists. The real facts behind the house of horrors in Amityville. In all, 14 terrifying tales, all the more spine-tingling because they're true!

Interesting insight
Interesting insight into some of the cases the Warren's have dealt with, as well as some of their case files. This book is most certainly different from book 1. It's based more on their personal experiences, rather than the stories told to them by others.

review
Good stories of events about what happened in the Warrens case files but left me with more questions than answers behind them and overall the audiobook is to short. All of these titles should be made into one audiobook series and paid in one not sold separately by audible.

lol
Got this for my insomnia playlist - something to just zone out to but didn't need to care about it too much, but it was so funny it actually did the opposite of what I had hoped.
really cannot understand how the Warrens can put a book like this out into the world and there are STILL people who just can't see that they were massive con artists. the fact they could even release a book as lazy as this shows what they thought of their audience. They didn't even need to try 🤣
very funny, but ridiculous

Entertaining but…
The obsession for claiming that the stories are 100% true (while for example Amityville has been debunked in any possible way) and the constant implicit judgement according to catholic morals tend to be very irritating, but the stories are otherwise entertaining and quite well written.
The narration is ok, but initially Lorraine’s parts sound like a parody; luckily it gets better later on.
