About this listen
A brand new stand-alone romantic comedy from the best-selling, award-winning team of Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy.
Hosting her brother's wedding for an MVP guest list is the challenge of Jess Canning's life. Already the family screw-up, she can't afford to fail. And nobody (nobody!) can learn of the colossal mistake she made with the best man during a weak moment last spring. It was wrong, and there will not be a repeat. Absolutely not. Even if he is the sexiest thing on two legs.
Blake Riley sees the wedding as fate's gift to him. Jess is the maid of honor and he's the best man? Let the games begin. So what if he's facing a little (fine, a lot) of resistance? He just needs to convince the stubborn blonde that he's really a good boy with a bad rap. Luckily, every professional hockey player knows that you've got to make an effort if you want to score.
But Jess has more pressing issues to deal with than sexy-times with a giant man-child. Such as: will the ceremony start on time, even though someone got grandma drunk? Does glitter ever belong at a wedding? And is it wrong to murder the best man?
Caution: May cause accidental aspiration of tea or coffee. Do not listen in a public place where loud laughter is inappropriate. Contains hot but hilarious hockey players, puppy cuddling, and a snarky pair of underwear. Cover art copyright Okay Creations.

Am so happy about this book. Thank you!! Author made it seem effortless to write an enjoyable story, without filling it with ... unnecessary ... well ... Let's start again. This is a story that avoids feeling like factory work to me. Absolutely human and lovely.
The best kind of good!

This was another corker from the brilliant Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen, and let me tell you, Good Boy absolutely did not disappoint! As someone who was completely charmed by Blake in the previous instalment of this series, I was practically bouncing with anticipation to finally delve into his own story with Jess. And oh, what a delightful journey it was! What I particularly enjoyed was how Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen managed to maintain that wonderful sense of camaraderie from the previous books. It wasn't just Blake's story unfolding, Wes and Jamie were still very much a part of the narrative, their own relationship continuing to weave its way through the pages. It’s this interconnectedness that makes this series so utterly addictive. Blake, who we'd previously seen as the life of the party and the ultimate charming rogue, was an absolute joy to follow as the central character. He brought his signature wit and playful energy to the forefront, and there were moments I genuinely laughed out loud at his antics. However, what truly resonated with me was the chance to see a more vulnerable and thoughtful side to him. Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen peeled back the layers, revealing a depth of character that made him even more endearing.
Jess, his love interest, was equally captivating. She wasn't just a foil for Blake's exuberance; she was a strong, intelligent, and wonderfully complex character in her own right. Their chemistry clear from the very beginning, and I enjoyed watching them navigating the inevitable bumps in the road with a genuine and heartfelt connection. I really rooted for them as a couple. I appreciated the balance between the light-hearted moments and the more emotionally resonant ones. Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen have a knack for injecting humour without sacrificing the depth of the story. The writing, as always with these two talented authors, was seamless and engaging. The dialogue crackled with wit and authenticity, and the pacing kept me thoroughly invested.
Another great installment in this interconnected series 💙

The two narrators are wonderful. I love them both. Tanya Eby gives Jess that warm voice with some angst as she runs through her crazy life, and Teddy Hamilton is the gruff and sensual Blake. The two compliment each other well.
Love this series!
