John lennox is one of those people who explains things in a way most of us wouldn't think to describe, not to mention he has access to dedicated scholars in their fields to back up what he is saying, so can be trusted as true. One thing i will mention though is the accent of the narrator, Im not talking about the american accent, we are all used to that, but whatever he is doing with some words is distracting to say the least. Words like reality, christianity, he doesn't pronounce them properly, he puts an A in very important words, like christianitaay, or realitaay or marolitaay... its so annoying, and after hours of listening to that, it becomes quite grating, and you end up not listening to the book, but just waiting for the next time he does it. Doesn't anyone ever vet these things in the early stages, to make sure they are at least speaking in a way that isn't too strong in accent of his own region.

Brilliant book... but....

Dr Lennox is a great expositor using evidenced information to demonstrate his arguments. I will be sharing with friends and family to promote discussions and enlightenment.

very good, so much interesting information. very balanced presetation and lots of evidence for the claims made.

This book is excellent, so good that I think it's still worth listening to, despite the narration issues. However, it really needs re-recording. The narrator is easy to listen to, but word pronunciation is sometimes wrong, especially with people's names. In other places, it was frustrating that words were mis-read. In one section, "causal relationship" was mis-read as "casual relationship" multiple times! Regarding the book itself, John Lennox is fantastic and so is this book, I'd say it's unmissable for anyone interested in this topic.

This is like having a book read to you by the Siri voice on your phone. I managed to complete the book and did get used to the voice to a degree, but a great deal is lost due to the monotony and odd syllable emphasis of the narrator.

The content was genuinely great and as a bit of a 'doubting thomas' Christian I enjoyed the content of the book greatly, discussing in an intelligent and honest manner some of the challenging questions that the 'new atheists' have raised. I imagine I would have enjoyed it more in paper.

I watched a lot of debates with Phd Lennox to came to this book.. All his insights as a phylosfers and mathematician gave me great insights in the christian God and religion. A great counter piece to Richard Dawkin's The god delussion. Lots of acceptable answers to life questions.

I would describe this book as a collection of sermons. Although it contains many interesting reasonings against atheism, i was personally expecting and hoping for less theology/philosophy and more science.
