Easily my favourite line of books in the halo series, fantastic performances, amazing story and an overall amazing experience. So many emotional and tense moments made this book impressive and interesting. Couldn’t be happier with it and I would recommend it to anyone interested in Alpha 9 and halo as a whole.

fantastic story. I've knocked a star off due to the incorrect chapters shown. every listed chapter is ACTUALLY the preceeding chapter e.g. "chapter 1" is actually the prologue, "chapter 2" is actually chapter 1 etc. it's the same throughout the entire book and can get confusing.

Good to continue halo 5 story and learn about buck and the odst in halo 3odst

There are no characters that are a better choice to narrate a story than Buck. His narrative voice is human and relatable. That combined with a story that compensates for Halo 5s lack of one, makes an amazing book. Brick's narration fits perfectly, too.
