Braxton is blamed for the murder for his abusive father though he isn't guilty. Innocent until proven guilty is not the shifter way. Shifter justice is meted out without really questioning the suspect. Kate owns a bed and breakfast that she is about to loose. On top of that she finds and saves an injured wolf. Then the wolf turns into a man. The plot thickens and twists as Brandon and Kate save each other and discover their life mate in the process.
I enjoyed this audiobook and fully intend to listen to the other books in the series.
