About this listen
The Spear of Lugh, one of the four Kingly Hallows of Ireland is in Chicago. And everyone, everyone wants it, for it is said that he who carries the spear into battle cannot be defeated. Among those who seek it are an agent of the infamous Wild Hunt; a mobster who knows far more about these things than he should; and of course both the Seelie and Unseelie Courts - the last people PI Mick Oberon would want getting hold of the spear....
Performed by Eric Messner, Elizabeth Jernigan, Chris Genebach, Scott McCormick, Matthew Keenan, Richard Rohan, Bob Payne, Terence Aselford, Christopher Graybill, Bradley Smith, David Jourdan, Nora Achrati, J W Rone, Nanette Savard, Colleen Delany, Paul Reisman, Dylan Lynch, Tim Carlin, Kimberly Gilbert, Tia Shearer, Michael John Casey, Ken Jackson, Ren Kasey, Nick DePinto, Rose Elizabeth Supan, Mort Shelby.

just as good as the first
gaaaaah so good! i am loving these! if you like Lost Girl, Bogart, someone who does their research and weaves it effortlessly into a story, or being super frustrated that you're stuck in this world and not the one you've just read/heard... check these out!
also huge props to the cast (tho i'd appreciate some more welsh accents in there, producers, since there's a whole section of chicago with welsh place names and we're more celt than our gael and viking brethren) especially the lead whose voice is like galaxy chocolate when you're mildly drunk in a bubble bath!

Good listerning but music too loud
RECOMMEND - Story and actors performances are great 5*
I appreciate the 1950's genre of mood music but it brought my overall score down from 5* to 3* as I have no alternative but to use audiobooks,
The EXCELLENT ACTING/NARRATORS and PRODUCTION made me perservere through the first 2 chapters as I 'lost' words as music played at same pitch and volume level during the solilioquys...although pleased music volume is a lower background level afterwards but I still found music interfering the flow of the story and had to use rewind quite alot (which i do not have to do normally) while actors talk.
It appears, from extract adverts for other books at the end, that this seems to be the style of this publisher, which is a downer for me and their authors..
