Dark RH Mafia Romance
Heathens by Sheridan Anne is a dark reverse harem mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kelsey Navarro and Blake Lockheart. This is the second book in the Depraved Sinners series.
I absolutely love Sheridan's books! I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I am loving the chemistry between Shayne, Roman, Marcus, and Levi. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book.
Sheridan did it again with her amazing cliffhanger that just leave you begging for more. I can't wait to dive into the next book Savages to get more of their story.
Kelsey and Blake did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, captive romances, mafia romances, reverse harems, or romantic suspense.

Thrilling
With 3 brothers who have taken their toy to be played with this leading lady has to become stronger than ever thought possible. Her luck seems to of run out as the guys father now has her and has no intention of giving her back. A fantastic performance. I’m looking forward to the next book.

Heathens is such a fitting title!
What a deliciously dark and amazing continuation. Man, this book had me captive from the beginning. The characters, the story, the dialogue, all pack an exquisite punch that the narrators knock out of the park. The narrators did an amazing job, and I’m looking forward to do much more.

War
After the cliffhanger of the last book this one picks up with Shane on the run but not getting far. Roman and Levi thinking she shot Marcus put Shane through a lot. This book is setting up a showdown between father and sons and the cliffhanger at the end of this book has me wanting the next book instantly. Great job by Kelsey Navarro and Blake Lockheart narrating.

AMAZING!
The darkness, the danger, the questions.. it's all so much, one thing is for sure... I hate Giovanni! I'm definitely not a fan of Ariana. I know there is more to it and I can't wait to find out what the answers to all my questions are. But the cliffhanger of course answers nothing! I love it though. I love the drama and steam.
Shayne is everything. Her ferocity and strength is unwavering no matter how much she doesn't believe in herself. She is so determined and amazing.
Roman, Levi, and Marcus DeAngelis are prisoners in their own version of Hades and at their dad's hands at that. I love their strength and resilience. It is amazing. They all 3 are tough and more than they know.
I can't wait to see where this series takes us. I need all the answers and without giving any spoilers I need to know who all these people are and what all is going on!
Kelsey Navarro was spectacular as always and Blake Lockheart was wonderful as well. I am a huge fan of both of these narrators, they give the story so much life!

What just happened?
*Audiobook Review*
Kelsey Navarro is quickly becoming one of my favourite narrators; her performance as Shayne in Heathens had me completely sucked in and was on edge for most of the audio. Shayne goes through a lot in Heathens and after the rollercoaster of book one that is saying something. There is drama, angst, so much tension and (not nearly enough) groveling. There are also some really harrowing parts in this which took me by surprise but the dark humour is still there as it was in book one with Dill and Doe replacing Tarzan as my highlight.
I also really enjoyed more of the male POV's especially after some of the revelations about the men's pasts; Blake Lockheart only had one chapter in book one and I'm hoping we see more of him book three as after the absolutely bonkers finale I need to know Roman's thoughts from his own mouth!
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read

Heathens
Heathens is a brilliant addition to the Depraved Sinners, a sinfully dark reverse harem mafia romance series. Sheridan Anne has done a phenomenal job with character and plot development. She is an incredible storyteller, and her lead female characters are always intelligent, independent, and bold. I loved the intricately woven plot. The story is an exciting rollercoaster with one twist after another and no dull moments. The second I started listening, I was wholly riveted. The storyline is raw, intense, dark, and unpredictable, wrapped in mystery and scorching heat.
The dynamics between the characters are as complex as they are. The three DeAngelis brothers, Roman, Levi, and Marcus, are uniquely twisted, fascinating, and alluring. They are ruthless, calculating, skilful, vicious, and complete psychos. Our heroine, whom I adore, is Shayne, the perfect match for the psychotic DeAngelis brothers. She is determined, fearless, and defiant. She has captivated the brother's cold hearts with her resolve and warmth. The boys are trapped in a gilded cage, with the threat of Giovanni's mercilessness constantly looming over their heads. Shayne joins the brothers in the plan to dethrone their father. The question is, will they win, and at what cost? The ending was mindblowing, dark, violent, and even heartbreaking. It was brilliant!!
Stellar narration!! Kelsey Navarro is absolutely outstanding in playing both male and female roles. She captures and portrays the characters' personalities and emotions flawlessly. Blake Lockheart is also an exceptional narrator, perfectly emulating the characters and bringing them to life. They are a terrific team! Depraved Sinners is fantastic series, brilliantly written and worth following. I'm highly recommending this series.
