All the emotions!
I cannot cope with this series! So bloody invested. A perfect continuation from the first book and so many twists and turns. Some I guessed at, but was still completely hooked. So much heartache in this and I really feel for all the MC's, still loving the 3 POV's.
For me, there's a lot in this that you can relate to in real life with the constant battles against anyone who is different etc.The story of young Cordelia breaks me and just makes me think of how LGBTQ+ people struggled before (and still) having to run, hide and be hunted and attacked. It may not be the intention, but on top of all the fun, chaos and hot lesbian vampire spice, there's a lot relatable feelings/situations throughout. One of my new favourite authors for sure!
My only moan.. I loved Red in Girl Games, she came across really strong and sassy, but she seems SO whiny in these! But I think it's also how the narrators play her character in the audiobook, it's the complete opposite of how she was in the previous series.

Loved the story! Finally some clarity!
I enjoyed the story as some of those twists and turns from book 1 are clarified. I thought the performance was brilliant too.

dark romance at its finest!
dark, loving, incredible storyline! the author tells a wonderful balance of charaters and the plot is mesmerizing!
the voices are filled with power and emotion. nothing monotone about these books!

DELIGHTFULLY FANTASTIC. 👹
This storyline is captivating throughout, I'm hooked from the beginning and I loved it. 💗
Excellent writing that is so delicious with its infusion of spices, that it leaves me wanting more and more, sublime! 🌶🌶
I have always been a fan of vampires, but this story is the best drink of blood I've listened to. 🎧
Excellent narration that is a pure joy to listen to, perfect performances. 🎶

cannot wait for crimson curses to come out!
10/10 she's done it again. literally going back to listen to Crimson Hearts again until Crimson Curses is out, I'm devastated and can't wait to see what happens!

What a compelling read!
I could see it all play out in my head. The story of Cordelia and the Chief alongside that of Red and Octavia made for a rich, compelling read. I normally get frustrated by cliff hangers but what a perfect one!
