Finally, a Budgeting Book That Gets Me!
Budgeting always felt overwhelming to me, but this approach made it feel like I could manage without giving up all the fun stuff in life. The tone is super relatable, and the examples had me nodding along (and laughing out loud). I appreciate that it didn’t try to guilt me into extreme measures but instead focused on realistic tweaks that fit into my lifestyle. I feel so much more confident about my finances now, and I’m actually enjoying the process of saving. Who knew that was possible?

Budgeting Can Be Fun
I didn't think I'd laugh while learning about managing money, but this book surprised me! It gave me practical tips I could actually use, and the humour made it feel less stressful. Ive already started tweaking how I shop and save, and it's making a difference that doesn't feel preachy, but still gets the point across. Perfect for anyone who wants to get their finances in order without feeling overwhelmed.

Relatable and Realistic
I thoroughly enjoyed this entire book- and it’s about financial tips and advice. This took the heavy and stress out of budgeting and financial planning. This is so relatable especially the part on budgeting- I liked that budgeting isn’t to shame yourself when you spend money but to see where you need to increase in some areas and decrease in others. I have been reviewing my finances without guilt which has been nice. Now I have an updated budget that I think will work better for me. The gives great financial advice that feels empowering and not overwhelming. I loved this book and I am having my college kids read it next. Highly recommend!

Money advice for the rest of us
Finally, a book about money that doesn’t make you feel like you need a finance degree to get your life together. It has tips that actually fit real life, like saving without sacrificing every little joy (yes, snacks included) and handling debt without losing your mind. It’s funny, relatable, and doesn’t judge you for being human. If you’ve ever thought budgets were boring or impossible, this book proves they can be neither!

Create smart habits
The main thing that I took from this audiobook was that by making several small, smart habits with money, you would be on the road to creating a more stable financial future. There was a chapter about meal planning and another one about creating an emergency fund for a rainy day. The guide took a light-hearted, yet practical, approach to the sometimes sensitive subject of money.

Making budgeting fun (ish)
Let's face it, budgeting is never fun like other activities but it doesn't mean you can put some fun and humour into it and that is what this audiobook does so well. You don't feel like you're being lectured to for 4 hours about boring tasks. We have recently had our first baby so we have had to rethink our entire budget. This can be stressful but the tips in the book really do help and make budgeting not so bad. I was actually getting excited as times because I knew that the outcome would mean less long-term stress. After listening to the book, I felt a sense of clarity and the ability to focus more on simple tasks. It's a book I will be listening to again and recommending to my friends.
