Summary
Journalist Charlene White gains unprecedented access to some of Britain’s oldest and most famous companies and institutions to find out what makes them successful. In each episode we will meet the people behind this success; senior management and staff, past and present, this series gets under the skin of these world famous organisations.
We learn how they have each employed distinct cultures, systems and techniques in order to stand the test of time. We also hear about the companies’ biggest failures throughout their history and what they learnt.
With the help of Paul Anderson-Walsh, Director of The Centre for Inclusive Leadership; and research by Professor Alex Hill, Kingston University & Director of the Centre for High Performance; each episode identifies how these business lessons can be applied directly to your own life; how to improve your productivity, stay motivated and get ahead.

Interesting
This podcast offers some valuable advice from a broad range of areas. It is in some places a little bit lengthy, although overall it provides a good introduction to productivity.

Interesting, but not what I expected
This audible podcast was more about long-standing institutions their history, ethics and processes. I think there is around one lesson in outperformance per episode. Interesting never the less. And I must add the quality of the information/lesson is more important than the quantity.

Great series with heartening motives
This series takes you from dominating in rowing to tackling cancer. With compelling accounts on how to succeed as a team, handling life changing challenges and pushing yourself. If you are looking for a short and sweet series, to provide some much needed inspiration, look no further.

Great performance and story, Shame about the ending.
Great narration and story was keeping me hooked until the reveal. Worth listening to but the last twist was totally unnecessary. Should have been left once the fist explanation is revealed. The extent to which the writer goes to explain the further twist is cringy. As if S. Boland thought she had to go into a LOT of details in case the readers were dumb. It did not bring anything more to the story and only made me feel annoyed for having to listen to a useless twist which didn’t bring anything interesting to the plot. I fast forwarded to the end just to be rid of it. Phew!

Engaging and enlightening
Wasn't' sure what to expect as I thought the subjects could end up being rather dry. However pleasantly surprised how interesting each individual chapter was .Narrator was easy to listen to which was an added bonus.

Informative insights
The case studies were interesting, the speakers were influential and the overall content was very relevant. However, I found the information was presented in a fairly academic manner, which made it appear unlikely that the average person could ever aspire to the levels of achievement discussed. It is always nice to hear about someone who has started from the ground up, such as Sir Richard Branson, as it helps to overcome any perceived barriers to entry.

Boring
So boring that I didn't finish this book. The write up made it sound more interesting. It didn't live up to my expectations.
