I Heard this book being reccomend led by chance and was surprised how hard I found it to put down.

Frances Cha captures the realities of life in Seoul for young women and the behavioural patterns of Korean men with eerie accuracy.

Highly recommend to anyone interested in discussions around toxic culture, beauty standards, nightlife and rising cost of living or even just looking for some entertainment.

An accurate insight into women's lives in Korea. And although often full of disappointment and suppression the stories of these women find love, hope and kindness.

As a woman who lives in Korea I connected with the characters so much reading the ugly truths.
