"Relentless, Gritty, and Darkly Hilarious – Echoes of Decay – Infection Day Delivers Non-Stop Action!"
If you're a fan of fast-paced action, dark humor, and relentless zombie mayhem, Echoes of Decay – Infection Day is an absolute must-listen. G.H. Glass delivers a thrilling, cinematic experience that plunges listeners into the chaos of a world unraveling in the wake of a catastrophic bioweapon failure.
The story wastes no time throwing us into the fire. When a critical mission to contain a deadly virus fails, civilization crumbles within days, leaving only scattered survivors to fend off the infected hordes. At the heart of the action is Dutch and Echo Team—battle-hardened, resourceful, and laced with the kind of gallows humor that keeps you grinning even as the stakes rise. Their fight for survival is brutal, gripping, and filled with moments of unexpected camaraderie that make you genuinely invested in their fate.
The narration is top-notch, perfectly capturing the tension, adrenaline, and dry wit that define the characters. Whether it's the sheer intensity of combat sequences or the quiet, eerie moments between battles, the audiobook keeps you hooked from start to finish.
With its blend of high-stakes action, razor-sharp dialogue, and a world that feels terrifyingly plausible, Echoes of Decay – Infection Day stands out as a fresh and exhilarating take on the zombie apocalypse genre. If you're looking for a story that delivers both thrills and heart, this is one you won’t want to miss.

Story line was really strong and realistic whilst being informative.
I loved the detail and continuity of the book, it also flowed well from chapter to chapter. the excitement of the story line kept me listening. the different characters were colourful and well played with different accents. I loved learning about the military side of things, it gave me an insight into things I would never be able to experience in real life.

Strongly recommend this one!!!!
If you love your post-apocalyptic fiction with a sharp wit, a military edge, and a distinctly British vibe, Echoes of Decay delivers in spades. Dutch, the no-nonsense lead, navigates a crumbling world with a mix of grit and dark humor that keeps the pages turning (or the audio playing).
G.H. Glass clearly knows the genre inside and out, blending action, realism, and satire into a fresh take on survival. It’s current, clever, and doesn’t take itself too seriously—exactly what the apocalypse needs.
At just 5 hours and 37 minutes, the audiobook flies by, and I’m already itching for Round 2. If you’re into military-infused, laugh-out-loud end-of-the-world tales, this one’s a must-listen.

Gritty, Down to Earth and Thrilling
I'm a huge fan of zombie fiction and this more than delivered on that. I really enjoyed the attention to detail. The action is well thought out and punchy and kept me invested.
The voice work is servicable but the narrative carries this audiobook.
looks like I'm into another series!
