About this listen
Without a map, 19-year-old Jake Ducey leaves behind a drug-filled life and college basketball scholarship to wander the world and prove we can find our dreams by following our heart. On the outskirts of civilization, often uncertain, without money and near death, he finds that everything he was seeking in the world was within him the whole time. Journeying from Guatemala to Australia, Indonesia to Thailand, and ending with fourteen days of silent meditation, he shows that our destiny is in reach if we only look within ourselves first.

What a journey!
I am still collecting my thoughts about Jake's experience. He knew he was worth so much more but he didn't know what and how. His travels helped him get there. I feel that 'travels' is such a light term. Jake embarked on a pilgrimage of life.
I really gained some good lessons from this book, especially about faith and gratitude. I will listen to the last two chapters again to review what Jake learned at the meditation retreat.
The content is highly articulate and has a lot of intelligent thoughts, as well as wise outlooks about life. This is book is by someone who said that he wasn't good at writing assignments at school!
Thank you for this book Jake Ducey, you have proved that anything is possible.
