About this listen
In this “brave and heartbreaking novel that digs its claws into you and doesn’t let go, long after you’ve finished it” (Anna Todd, New York Times bestselling author) from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of All Your Perfects, a workaholic with a too-good-to-be-true romance can’t stop thinking about her first love.
Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.
Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.
As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.
An honest, evocative, and tender novel, It Ends with Us is “a glorious and touching read, a forever keeper. The kind of book that gets handed down” (USA TODAY).

Book that broke my heart
I read a lot, and have small baby, so when a book keeps me awake at night, it means a lot.
Real life story about cycle of abuse and devastating choices it forces on people.
Highly recommend for feely read.

Fast paced enjoyable read.
I really enjoyed this book. Excellent demonstration of quiet strength in characters. The beginning middle and end end each had equal depth to the story. Definitely recommended.

Emotional story
This book certainly gave me all the feels, which is a sign of the writing. It didn't necessarily go the way I hope it would, which is so sadly true of domestic violence. Slightly over written and over explained in places which made it feel long. but overall, good.

Inspiring
This book left me feeling full of love, pain and hope. The message that truly came across in the end was the beauty of a mother's strength for her child. loved everything about it

A surprise from colleen
I love Colleen's novels and I was excited to read this because I enjoy her so much. It truly surprised me with how the story progressed having been in a similar situation to Lily's. "I am a statistic" was one of the truest lines in the story and it is something I have said on several occasions. A must read for all who survive and also love Colleen Hoover.

Not anything like I expected
It was an amazing book. I was struggling at first as I thought it was a typical love story, however it’s anything but. It was raw, real and gripping. It was sad in parts but I loved how Lily became her own hero in the end. I have preordered the next book.
