About this listen
If there was ever a time when Jameson Grant wished he was a different sort of man, it was now. The sort of man who had it in him to accept the promise of tomorrow from a sweet woman. But he wasn’t the kind of man who liked sweet. The former SEAL didn’t like much of anything or anyone.
His past had taught him that people where liars and cheats, and his time as a Special Forces operator taught him people also killed and manipulated. So, Jameson did what he did best and walked away from the sexy blonde, with legs that were every man’s fantasy. But when she comes back in desperate need of help, he cannot turn his back on the beautiful Kennedy Lane a second time.
Kennedy Lane was in trouble, and she only knew one man who could help. But when she went in search of her childhood friend, the owner of Gemini Group, she found his sexy teammate Jameson, instead. The man was positively broody, brash, and most certainly rough around the edges, and possibly the most distrusting person she’d ever met. He was also hot, and bossy, and when he forgot to be a jerk, he was sweet.
The problem was, he wasn’t interested in her - not personally. Jameson had one mission - keep Kennedy safe - a directive he’d made crystal clear. As the pressure to sell her land increases, the team quickly realizes just how far the greedy land developer will go in his quest to steal everything Kennedy loves.
Nothing is off-limits, and no one is safe. Lines blur when Kennedy’s life is on the line and Jameson can no longer deny he’s fallen for the woman he never dared to dream existed. Now time’s running out - literally - and it’s up to Jameson to save the woman he loves.

Good story, great narration
Let me preface this with the fact that I'm a huge fan on this team of narrators- Joe Arden and Erin Mallon can bring any story to life and I really loved their telling of the story, which is actually my first read of this story. Therefore, their ability to draw you into the story is wonderful and I didn't think about a few of the issues with the story.
I did whispersync and read a couple of chapters and what really confused me a bit was the switching between first and third person. This is something that I didn't really think about too much when listening to the audiobook but reading it made it a little more obvious.
The story itself was good- a bit too instalove and it got tiring hearing Jameson note that he doesn't usually get into relationships but couldn't help himself with Kennedy. Otherwise, I love the grumpy sunshine pairing and Riley Edwards does it so well. Also, the entire cast of characters from the Gemini group and beyond are great and I love checking in with them and I can't wait for them to get their HEAs too. This book features a wonderful blend of romance, steam, suspense and a bit of action to round it out!

Entertaining!
This is the second book in the Gemini Group series, a Romantic Suspense. Jameson and Kennedy's story is entertaining and fast-paced. Kennedy is beautiful, strong, and caring. Jameson, a former SEAL, is handsome, protective, and supportive. They are perfect together. The storyline has mystery, suspense, action, and twists and turns. I loved to see the characters from the first book. This is another great story in the series. Joe Arden and Erin Mallon did an amazing job with the narration. They are perfect as Jameson and Kennedy. If you like Romantic Suspense, this one is for you! Looking forward to listening to Weston's Treasure, the next book in the series.

It was okay
Just like book 1, I struggled with this. The written style wasn't for me BUT I did enjoy this better than book 1, so I am glad I took another chance
This story was about Kennedy and Jameson and was full of heat but it also had that push and pull angsty feeling with the characters that I love so much.
3 stars!

Loved!
Jameson's Salvation - Book 2 of the Gemini Group Series
Jameson Grant and Kennedy Lane's story was a captivating listen and another great romantic suspense from Riley Edwards! Jameson is not a people person outside of his small circle but Kennedy has him dreaming of more and wanting to help her in any way he can. I adored Kenndy - she was a strong heroine and just full of sunshine always wanting to see the good in people and give them second chances. Once the suspense and action got going I had a hard time stepping away from the audio as I wanted to know what happens. I loved how their relationship progressed and how they came to realize what they truly meant to one another. I would highly recommend this listen and series.
Joe Arden and Erin Mallon were fantastic at bringing Jameson and Kennedy's emotions out throughout the story!

So good I listened twice
I really enjoyed this one.
There was no slow build up - Riley had me with this one in the first five minutes.
Jameson and Kennedy are relatable and interesting. I particularly enjoyed Kennedy's memories of her teenagehood and her pep talks to herself. I love how independent and capable she is.
Jameson's inner dialogue is fantastic as he argues with himself over his feelings. His development over the course of the book is a great story.
The drama is also well portrayed and I almost cried I was so devastated about the disasters that befell poor Kennedy.
Joe and Erin narrate perfectly, as always, bringing the characters alive in the best way.
Very enjoyable.

Enjoyable romantic suspense
This is my first book from this author and I enjoyed Jameson and Kennedy's story. It had plenty of action and I liked the two lead characters - both individually and as a couple. As always, Joe Arden and Erin Mallon do a great job bringing the characters to life. I'll definitely be downloading the first book in the series.

Jameson & Kennedy
Jameson starts off as a grumpy guy but quickly falls under Kennedy's spell. I love her fierce independence and how they both break each other down.

Such strong emotion
Diametric opposites on the face of it, eternally cheerful Kennedy and dour Jameson have little in common it would appear but how the outer covers are deceptive!!
Kennedy is driven by a need to succeed, not in the traditional sense of monetary success, but by her own measure and as simple as that may seem it’s anything but. A fighter by nature she is just the most capable person I think I’ve ever seen an author write about. No wonder Jameson doesn’t really stand a chance…
Introverted and dour, Jameson had a small group of friends that were the only people in the whole world he liked and trusted. That grew inexplicably by one when he met Kennedy and his world was rocked.
Thrown together in an effort to help Kennedy push back on land developers, there are plenty of hot moments, exciting moments and gasp aloud moments which were expertly brought to life by the narrators of this story.
There were three pivotal moments in this book, the bees, the videos and the car, which have me on the edge of my seat when I read this book, so I’m so pleased that they were brought alive so brilliantly by the narrators.
A long listen, the book flew by for me and totally captured my attention. A wonderful depiction of a book I thoroughly enjoy.
