About this listen

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Tijan comes a new story in her Bennett Mafia universe...

Jonah Bennett wasn’t like his family. The mafia business was firmly what his brothers did, not him.

That changed the day a rival family killed his fiancée.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new listeners, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

A great intro to Tijan's Mafia books.

All of the 1001 dark nights books are windows into established worlds written by authors. They are standalones and give you a little sneak peak into a series.

Jonah isn’t in fact Mafia but his family are and he is caught up in the fall out of the family business when his fiancée is killed by a rival family. Carson shows him kindness but a series of “coincidences” throw them together and a fast paced novella is the result.

With plenty of action and a decent dose of steam. This was a great little listen.

Both these narrators are new to me and did a bang up job of nailing Jonah and Carson. Holly gives us the caring Carson who hates being played and Benjamin has this deep raspy tone that emanates power. Another great audiobook from Tijan and a great introduction to her Mafia books. The body count isn’t as high as her recent release CANARY but I still loved it.

A 3.5 Star Story.💔👻🔥♥️

Jonah Bennett: A Bennett Mafia Novella (1001 Dark Nights)
By: Tijan
🎧 Audiobook Narrated by: Benjamin Charles and Holly Warren
Length: 5 hrs and 26 mins
📖 Ebook

I was a little disappointed that the narrators didn't make more of an effort to differentiate between characters with their voices.😕

I really like the Bennett family stories. Jonah got put through hell in this book.💔

Carson was a bit of an odd duck with her 'feeling dead people' thing.😳👻 But going from kidnapped to jumping his bones in less than 24 hours was crazy.😆

The scenes in the hangar were raw and really compelling.👏 I felt the rest was a bit disjointed, if I'm honest.
