Da Lise spørger sin far og mor, om hun må tage den med hjem, siger de nej. Han har jo en hund. Lisa bliver ked af det. Noget må der gøres... Den danske forfatter Poul Larsen (f. 1940) er oprindeligt uddannet kontorassistent og efterfølgende folkeskolelærer - et job, som han bestred i 30 år, før han for alvor vendt sin opmærksomhed mod forfattergerningen. Poul Larsen fik sin litterære debut i 1972 med digtsamlingen "Bare Digte" og har levet af at skrive siden 1995, hvor han stoppede som folkeskolelærer.
