About this listen
Katelyn Winters is a mystery writer who is officially in a rut. With her editor hounding her for the next hot book, she's dug her heels into her office trying to type out something...anything! That's when life steps in and throws her some juicy tidbits; Haverford Manor. Between the old mystery of the murder that happened there years ago and its new tenants, Adam and Vickie Haverford, there's a plethora of ideas. Unfortunately, Katelyn gets in a little too deep...that's when her sister, Abby, steps in and offers a murder-mystery weekend experience. As fun as that sounds, could bad omens and ill will follow Katelyn to Winchester Estates? Has Katelyn gotten herself in a little too deep? Hopefully, she's not the one to be kidnapped!

The staff seem to know more than they are telling but what about their rest of the authors? Katelyn is new to the writing scene so no body had reason to take out the competition and is is not famous enough to rake in the big bucks for ransom. So just what is the reason behind the disappearance?
I liked the narrator and thought she did a good job with all the voices needed to bring the story to life.
