About this listen
Trapped in Paradise, Washington by a snowstorm, Lily and Judy fear for their lives. A sudden blizzard confines a group of shelter seekers to a lodge that has been closed for the season. The scenery is breathtaking, but when bodies start to drop, it seems clear that one of their companions is a murderer. Cut off from the rest of the world, can the amateur sleuths discover the culprit and save everyone from impending death? Meet the crazy cast of shelter seekers in this picturesque Mount Rainer hideaway. Follow the clues with the ladies from Poulsbo, Washington as they seek to unveil the motive for murder. Will closing in on the truth save them or make them the next victims? How many will make it out alive when the snow starts to melt?

A killer book
This series is just getting better and better. I thought I loved the last book but this one takes it up another level and I have to say I enjoyed it even more. This is the fourth book in the series and can be read or listened to as a standalone or part of the series. Being stuck in a snow storm with a group of strangers and a killer makes for an interesting listen especially as other than the main characters, you don't know who to trust. Yes the author did manage to surprise me. I would normally complain that the story was fairly short but it this instalment it was just right and kept me hooked until the end. I am so glad I discovered this series and look forward to the next mystery with these delightful characters.
A walk in the woods turns deadly when a snowstorm hits without warning. Lily, Judy and Jed seek shelter after there car goes off the road leaving them stuck. They arrive at a lodge which is closed for the winter but they aren't the only ones to arrive seeking help. As the small group gets bigger strange things start to happen and as people start to disappear the three of them start to ask exactly what have they walked into? Then they discover a body in the snow and everybody becomes a suspect. Can they survive the snowstorm trapped with a killer when nobody is who they appear to be? And just who is responsible for the body in the snow?
I like the narrator. He has been the narrator right from the start of the series (even the prequel) and while I wasn't to sure he right he has won me over and I can't imagine anybody else doing the job now. The one thing I am not to keen on is the Long pauses he gives while reading the recipe for something I would probably never make, but that is my personal opinion and you might like it as it gIves you time to write it down. I must admit I skip over that part so I can start the next book sooner.

Such a delightful series
I am loving this series, you can just listen and relax and enjoy. There are always suprises in the story line but is so engaging. Don't forget to listen to the recipes at the end.
The narration is to a tee, I still cant get over how I listened to other books by Jeff Moon of completely different genres but he has captured cosy.

Great listen
This series just keeps getting better. The story has been done before many times. Snowed in with a killer where everyone is suspect but Dennis Shock does an excellent job keeping the tension up and adding a good twist at the end. I highly recommend this series. Jeff Moon does another fine job with the narration. I received a complimentary copy of the audio and am leaving a honest voluntary review.

Killer Christmas
This is a cracking listen from Dennis Shock. It is well written and action packed from page 1, the plot is intricate enough to keep you guessing all the way through this edge of the seat thriller. Will they catch the killer, will they be home for Christmas? Geoff Moons narration is top notch which all adds up to a very entertaining few hours. Highly Recommended. I look forward to the next book in the series.
