About this listen
The purpose of this study is to prove that Jesus is the King of the Jews. He is the Jewish Messiah that they are still waiting for. He will come in the clouds, and every eye will see him. The Messiah had to be a descendant of Abraham and David. Jesus fulfilled this condition.
The Gospel of Matthew is a bridge between the Old Testament prophets and the New Testament revelation of Jesus, the son of God. Matthew quotes many times from the Old Testament and has Jewish listeners particularly in mind. I want to include some of those fulfilled prophecies in this study, as well as mention some that are yet to be fulfilled.
