Kis elsker heste, og lige siden hun så Prins for første gang, har han været hendes yndlingshest. Hun går til ridning og håber, hun får lov at ride på Prins til sin første konkurrenceridning. Det viser sig desværre, at det ikke er så let, men Kis nægter at give op!
"Kom i trav, Prins!" er anden del af serien om Kis og hesten Prins. Gunilla Wolde (1939-2015) var en svensk forfatter og illustrator. Hun er særligt kendt for sine tidsløse børnebøger om Totte og Lotte. Karaktererne er baseret på hendes egne børn og bøgerne er oversat til mere end 14 sprog.
