Gripping and right to the very last word. Excellent narrative. l truly enjoyed this book although at times I wanted to scream at Ben! Nothing is ever what it seems.

really good story with an unexpected twist, that you couldn't see coming. made all the better by the excellent narration. when I finished it, I went straight on line to buy another book by the author and will buy books by the narrator again.

For the first few chapters I very nearly gave up, it was so slow. But I thought I may as well give it a few more chapters. Not a page turner, but curiosity took over. The characters became more interesting. I predicted the end fairly early on, but it was still good. Overall - enjoyable.

One of the best listens so far. I've become quite a fan of k. L Slater and this is top drawer stuff! A nice twist and quite unexpected. Looking forward to more audible from her.
