Summary
Myron Bolitar is summoned to Paris at the behest of an old lover, Therese. She is in trouble and needs his help. When he gets there, he discovers that her ex-husband has been murdered and she is the main suspect. The interesting thing is that more than one blood-type has been discovered at the scene - and the other blood can only be attributed to the dead man's daughter. But she died 10 years before...
Thus begins Harlan Coben's brilliant new stand-alone novel - a taut and twisting thriller that will amaze and stun his legions of fans...

So disappointing
This was jogging along with Myron and Wyn in their usual way - but the whole story took a turn that I felt wasn't sensible and the ending was too far fetched to be acceptable.
I really felt such a disappointment as I have been a great fan of Harlan Coben, but this had a rushed and implausible ending.

Kept me awake listening
This is my first Harlan Coben book and I will definitely listen to more. Good narration and a very exciting plot kept me hooked, listening til 3am because I just couldn't stop. There were parts that were rather too gruesome for me, but I turned it down in those bits! Recommended to those without too nervous a disposition.

Another great Myron story.
I really wish this series could go on forever. I love the wit along with the plot twists and action. Throwaway lines remind me of Raymond Chandler. This story throws in a European element. Great stuff.

dull naration
Not the best harlan coben and a disappointing ending. This narrator felt wrong and not believable and he completely missed the mark with the character voice of Win.

very poor
This is a very poor story. It has made me question why I ever liked Myron Bolitar.
This may be my last Harlan Coben novel.
