About this listen

The wife of a prominent local judge is shot and killed on Wyoming game warden Joe Pickett's turf. I love everything about. C.J.Box booksand the Two tv series and was sad that they were not renewing the series.

This book was such a disappointment. Have read and re-read many of the Joe Pickett series. This plot is fantastical. It also depicts both US gun culture and system of popular elections of Sherriff’s and Judges in the worst possible light.
Even the usually wonderful main characters were diminished.
Fortunately I have already read (listened to) next book in sequence, Dark Sky, and Mr Box is back on track with that one.Fans, just give this one a miss.
