I am genuinely sad to have completed this trilogy. This book was beautifully written as were it's predecessors. The narrator was fantastic. I know I will tune back in to this weird and wonderful tale again. and... again So I revisited this series again. Brilliant!

I loved the first two books and was looking forward to a really dark and disturbing section before getting to the part where the good guys save the day. It wasn't anywhere as dark as I hoped for and even after a couple of listens I'm not entirely convinced I understand some parts of the story (or that parts of the story make sense). Still it is a good story.

A most imaginative story with wonderful characters and a brilliant setting. It is also beautifully English. Woven about with a love of our country. I cannot recommend it enough.
