Vincent Banecroft, der jähzornige Chef der STRANGER TIMES, hat den Tod seiner Frau nie akzeptiert... trotz recht eindeutiger Beweise für das Gegenteil. Nun scheint es, als ob er doch Recht behalten könnte: Wie weit wird er gehen, um sie zu retten?
Banecroft ist abgelenkt und damit kommt der Rücktritt von Hannah Willis als stellvertretende Chefredakteurin äußerst ungelegen. Ist es eine gute Idee, sich ausgerechnet jetzt in das schicke New-Age-Zentrum einer Promi-Sekte zu flüchten?
Und dann verschwindet auch noch ein ehemaliger Kolumnist der Zeitung - besonders beeindruckend, da er nie existiert hat.
