About this listen

Standards are the foundation of our educational systems today. Fairness, rigor, and high achievement for all students are the focus of standards-based schools. Yet the standards movement means nothing if it does not improve student achievement in the classroom. In this revised edition, Dr. Reeves provides step-by-step guidance on how to design and implement standards-based performance assessment to make improved teaching and learning a reality in the classroom.©2004 Advanced Learning Press, a division of Advanced Learning Centers, Inc. I thought it was read well but I didn't totally understand what the book was about.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I knew nothing about the U.SlA.'s education system but I found the book rambling and didn't truly get the point.

I thought they read the book well.

Did Making Standards Work inspire you to do anything?

No.

Any additional comments?

Again, this book wasn't relevant to me as I'm not from the U.S.A.nor am I involved with schools but I still found it a little interesting to hear thoughts on how children should be taught.

Not relevant to me but slightly interesting.
